Spring is Here! New Fruit Trees Planted.
With the entrance of spring and the warmer weather, we decided it was time to plant some fruit trees on a small section of the farm. There is something about spring and seeing the farm coming to life after the winter thaw. Our spring objective was to get some new young fruit trees in the ground to help improve habitat. The trees we planted were a variety of Apple and Peach and roughly about a year old. On average it takes about three years before trees begin to produce fruit. Fruit trees act as a natural source of food for many different animals- the main animals being deer.
